Also, if you have not already, we strongly encourage you to take an approved boater safety course such as offered online by the Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries (www.dgif.virginia.gov). Besides the obvious benefit of being a safer boater, having a certification card greatly expedites the check-in process.
